HASTINGS DIRECT | HOW WE BROUGHT A STATUE TO LIFE

We were asked to breathe new vigor into the Hastings Direct TV campaign. The stakeholders were wedded to Harry Hastings, but wanted the ad to feel fresh - a tricky task for a 900 year old statue! 

Direct TV is often difficult, as there’s a lot of information to get across in a short amount of time.

We found the insight that the great thing about statues is that they alway know where they stand. Through rain, hail and shine, they're there – a perfect metaphor for insurance customers who constantly feel snowed on by the big guys. 

We worked closely with the Frame Store to really bring Harry to life and ensure that the campaign had a solid leg to stand on.
